Camu Tao (Weatherman Crew/Def Jux).....King of Hearts
King Of Hearts is essentially a collection of demos and unfinished songs camu had created for his album. some were recorded professionally, some were not. his sickness prevented him from finishing them all. We felt that the music, even in its raw form, was beautiful and needed to be heard. Camu needs to be heard.
on that same pre order page is a FREE download for the Central Services album “FOREVER FROZEN IN TELEVISION TIME”. CS was a collaborative record between myself (el-p) and Camu Tao. It was created in late 2004, early 2005 but never released. We intended to release it in conjunction with Camus solo record, but sadly due to Camus sickness and eventual passing, everything got delayed. You dont have to pre order KING OF HEARTS to get the download, but we hope that you do....Get This @ http://DefinitiveJux.net/KingofHearts/

OL SCHOOL WEDS Video------Mad Lion
MAD LION, is a dancehall, ragga musician and rapper. He frequently collaborates with fellow hip hop artist KRS-One — most recently on a DVD promoting the Temple of Hiphop. The recipient of the 1994 Source award as Reggae Artist of the Year, he has inspired similar-sounding recordings by such artists as Ini Kamoze, Capleton, and Rayvon.
A native of London, MAD LION was raised in Jamaica. Shortly after moving to the Bronx, New York, he met reggae performer Super Cat at Super Power Records. At Super Cat's suggestion, he adopted his professional name, an acronym for Musical Assassin Delivering Lyrical Intelligence Over Nations.MAD LION's earliest success came in the mid-1980s when he applied his hip hop rhythms to Shabba Ranks' hit single "Jam". He later appeared, along with Queen Latifah, on Salt-N-Pepa's 1997 album Brand New.
Launching his own label, Spinners Choice, Mad Lion was working on his debut album when he met and convinced KRS-One to work with him. The collaboration proved fruitful as Lion's single, "Shoot to Kill", sold more than 1,000,000 copies. His next single "Take It Easy", did even better, exceeding the 3,000,000 sale mark.
After releasing the album Real Ting in 1993, Mad Lion made countless guest appearances on such albums as The New Jersey Drive and D&D Project, compilations, and produced a tune for Born Jamericans. His second album Ghetto Gold & Platinum Respect was released in 1997. Three years later, his third album Predatah or Prey, which also included an interactive game, arrived.....Enjoy!!

GanGrene (ALC and OH NO)...Gutter Water Lp
Famed producer/emcee The Alchemist, and Oh No, the left-coast rapper/beatsmith are collaborating as Gangrene, to bring audiences the gritty opus Gutter Water on Decon. Over the course of three years and a myriad of emails, the two have built a project that celebrates their shared passion for dusty breaks and lurid wordplay as well as their distinctly different application of each.
On Gutter Water, both Oh No and The Alchemist share production duties while trading verses over each other’s dense compositions. Both find themselves remarkably at ease amongst the threatening drums pounded out on endearing vintage equipment, flipping verses that run the gamut from literal to abstract, amounting to an incredible collection of head-nodders. A myriad of features include Raekwon, Evidence, Roc C, MED, Twins Gambino, Planet Asia and Fashawn.

OL SCHOOL WEDS. Video----Tim Dog (ULTRA)
Tim Dog is a rapper from the Bronx, New York who rose to prominence during the early '90s with his debut LP Penicillin on Wax and the celebrated "diss" record "Fuck Compton". Tim had already appeared on songs with the Ultramagnetic MCs and went on to form a duo, Ultra, with member Kool Keith. "Fuck Compton" appeared in XXL Magazine's "Top 25 Diss Tracks of All Time" and earned Tim Dog critical acclaim from progressive hip-hop producer Blockhead who said that Tim Dog's "The Dog's Gonna Getcha" (off Penicillin On Wax) is "quite possibly the hardest song ever made." Nas shouts out Tim Dog on his track "Where Are They Now?" from his 2006 Album Hip Hop Is Dead and despite Tim Dog's beef with Dr Dre, Eminem name-checked him on the track 'Ricky Ticky Toc'. Penicillin on Wax included several additional "disses" aimed at both Compton artists and commercially successful artists such as Kid N Play and Kwame. The intro used the same beat as N.W.A's "efil4zaggin" album intro. Tim taunted "I stole your beat and made it better, to show the whole world that you aint nothing but a bunch of pussies" before a number of disparaging answering machine messages supported Tim's position. Tim rapped: "Wearing all that black, driving them cars, but you still look wack!". In another skit, "DJ Quik Beat Down", Tim Dog physically assaulted DJ Quik....ENJOYYY!!!

OL SCHOOL WEDS. Video----Audio 2
Audio Two were the Brooklyn, New York hip hop duo of emcee Kirk 'Milk Dee' Robinson and DJ Nat 'Gizmo' Robinson, most famous for their first hit, the classic "Top Billin'". They are also the older brothers of female hip-hop star MC Lyte. The duo’s debut single, "Make It Funky," was released in 1987, but it was the b-side "Top Billin'" that hit, making not only the group instant stars but a deep cultural impact on hip hop. The beat by Daddy-O of Stetsasonic and Milk Dee's lyrics would be sampled and referenced time and time again, even by the group themselves: both their full-length debut, 1988's What More Can I Say? and it's 1990 follow-up, I Don't Care: The Album, were titled after lines from the song. However the duo would never recapture their initial success. The singles for their second album, "I Get the Papers" and "On the Road Again", were only moderate hits. It was a time of rapid change in the hip hop market; gangsta rap was rising in popularity, and Audio Two found themselves unsuccessfully struggling to maintain recording contracts and a fanbase. A third album, First Dead Indian, due for release in 1992, was canceled before it was released even though it had an assigned catalog number.
Audio Two did, however, pave the way for their younger sister MC Lyte, who would launch her career with the hit single "I Cram To Understand You (Sam)," which went to #1 on the Billboard Hip-Hop chart in 1989. Lyte's 1998 album Seven & Seven would feature a remake of "Top Billin'"—with the original instrumental—this time a duet between her and her older brother. In 1994, Milk released a solo EP titled Never Dated on Rick Rubin's American Recordings. While the EP was notable for its single "Spam," a duet with the Beastie Boys' Adrock with drum programming by Mike D, aside from the devoted Beastie Boys fanbase the album generated little interest. Milk would eventually rediscover success by producing singer Eamon, who recorded the Spring 2004 hit "Fuck It (I Don't Want You Back)." In 2007, Milk Dee recorded a verse for a remix of "I Get Money" by 50 Cent, thanking all the music artists that sampled "Top Billin'," which earned him royalties.....Enjoy!
