The Hit Squad was formed by Legendary rap group EPMD. The Squad consisted of EPMD, DAS EFX, REDMAN, & K-SOLO...With a crew like this they were headed toward success. However, like many crews they broke-up and some went with E-Double (Def Squad) Redman & Keith Murray and the others went with PMD (Hit Squad) Das Efx and K-Solo. I'm Lucky to say that i went to see them in 92' with there HIT SQUAD Tour and saw all of them together and wassome dope ass shit. EPMD are now back together and have a new album out now called We Mean Business and seems like the team is back in full-force...I thought i show you guys some of there great videos so enjoy...

Estevan Oriol: This is Los Angles-A Photographic Retrospective
Estevan Oriol is gearing up for a new photo exhibition entitled ‘This Is Los Angeles; A Photographic Retrospective’ being held at SURU on Melrose Ave. This show will run from February 1st to the 28th. Air Jordan's 09'...
As the numerically named Air Jordans draws to a close in 2008 with the XX3, starting in 2009, the Air Jordan naming scheme follows a different route referencing the release year. A preview into the Air Jordan 2009 can be seen here. The shoe features all the elements of design you would come to associate with the Air Jordan with numerous details and touches, effectively making it a bootleggers nightmare. Little performance information is known however a release date is set for Saturday, February 14th, 2009.

Air Jordan 6 Fusions....
Nike and Jordan Brand have always been innovators when it comes to the shoe game, and they show us no different with their upcoming releases of Air Jordan 6 Fusions. Having a modified Air Jordan 6 upper being placed on an Air Force 1 bottom, the shoes come out with a very unique style. The two pairs in January will be using one retro colorway and one original colorway of the Air Jordan 6, which first released in 1991. February will be showcasing other colorways, including Hot Lava. If you have seen the Hot Lava colorway, then those will be sure to please you. In March, the shoes get even more unique. Two pairs will feature the 5/8 cut. They aren’t exactly a low top shoe, and they aren’t exactly a mid-top either. The regular AJF 6’s will retail at $160, while the 5/8’s will retail at $135.

Jordan Countdown pack....
One of this year’s most sought after Countdown Pack releases is readying for a pre-Christmas release with the Air Jordan Countdown pack featuring the XI and XIIs. The two colorways featured include the Black/Red XIs and the Black/White XIIs. Unlike previous pack releases , this one represents two popular models whereas previous releases involved more recent and less popular releases paired with some of Jordan’s earlier shoes. Although some stores have prematurely opened up their stock for sale, UNDFTD are dropping theirs at 12:00 am on Saturday, December 20th.

Powerule were one of the 1st real hardcore Latino rap groups. They came out in 91' with there lp called Vol. 1.n With singles like "Brick in the Wall", "Pass the Vibes", and "Thats the way it is" they were headed toward stardom. However, they broke up and went there own ways. With Back-up by Kurious, KMD, MF Doom, & Mf Grimm (Constipated Monkeys) you would of thought that they still be around. Before Busta Rhymes became a Mega star he was in a group of 4 peoples (Charlie Brown, Dinco D, & Milo (DJ)), From there Chuck D (PUBLIC ENEMY) gave them there name Leaders of the New School. There 1st album was a straight classsic (But then again every album at that time was straight bangin') Case of the PTA, Sobb Story, & Zone Coaster were all singles to name of few. Designer Music Vol. 1 Hat....
If you have visited here before you already know about the collaboration project I have with Elm Company. We are doing a series of hats inspired by Hip-Hop of the Golden Era. Given the base of Elm's consumers we often interpret songs that are known well known and sort of, landmarks from that era. The first hat we did was Summertime inspired by the images of the classic song by Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince. Here is a sneak preview of the next hat in the installment, inspired by one of my favorite groups and songs of all time..Public Enemy- Fight the Power. Hopefully, you remember that Fight The Power was the single from the Do The Right Thing Soundtrack. I'm not going to break everything down on this one until I post the real pics....But you get the idea.
