NIKE x Stevie "DREAD" Snyder Blazers....
Nike continues their alliance with the O.G. skate heads on their classic Blazer models. Last year we saw the Lance Mountain/ Craig Stecyk sneakers and this latest Blazer release graces a design by O.G. Alva Team rider and Chicago skate legend, Stevie “Dread” Snyder. The kicks receive the Windy City treatment, emblazoned with a Chicago flag inspired color scheme in a buttery suede finish.

Wu-Tang Clan x ALIFE Jacket...
While on the subject of stadium/varsity jacket, our friends at ALIFE made available the ALIFE x Wu-Tang Clan outerwear in remembrance of the late Russell Tyrone Jones, best known as Ol’ Dirty Bastard or ODB. Perhaps the one member of Wu-Tang with the wildest exploits, including picking up his welfare check in a limousine (documented by a MTV crew), ODB also gained a loyal following soon after Wu-Tang’s debut release, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). Known for a style uniquely to his own, ODB’s lyrical style of slurring and rambling made him a singularity, even in a 9-member ensemble of Wu-Tang Clan.
The jacket features large yellow embroidered “RIP ODP FOREVER” letterings on the back. A laurel around Wu-Tang Clan emblem, as well as the wording “Wu Classic Official Product of the Streets”, adorned the upper left front panel. The jacket body is composed of melton wool with premium leather sleeves. On the interior, a quilted, insulated lining plus a likeness of ODB’s first solo album art. I thought since FunkDoobiest is back together i would show yous there 1st offering. Which Doobie U Be was there first LP and marked a new style in Hip hop. Son Doobie, T-Funk, & DJ Ralph M the Mexican were the trio out of the Soul Assassin camp. This album was a classick with solid production (DJ Raplph M, Muggs, & DJ Lethal) and lyrics for days. The group reminded me of crews from the early stages of hip hop (Afrika Bambatta, Soul Sonic Force, & Force MC's) to name a few. Celebrating 30 years of hand building the Austrian G-Wagen, Mercedes-Benz has unveiled an anniversary vehicle with the very same design principles and a few extra goodies. Entitled the EDITION30, two versions have made production including a higher and lower end model. The EDITION30 will be a G-Class based on the W463-chassis G500 featuring unique leather, wood interior and Platinum Black paint job. The lower end EDITION30.PUR will feature a more rugged exterior based on the older W461 chassis with G280 CDI running gear, off-road tires, headlamp guards, flexible wheel arches and optional roof rack.

February makes way for the release of an exclusive co-branded t-shirt printed with MTTM’s classic pink stamp logo, coupled with KRINKS’ signature silver drip style. KRINK and the M.O.B came together, both because of an existing friendship and an on-going involvement in the streetwear industry. Merging an NYC street artist with Married to the Mob’s feminine and edgy aesthetic makes for yet another classic collaboration.
The pack includes a hot pink KRINK marker stamped with MTTM’s trademark kiss-logo on a metallic-pink custom colored label. 93' Till Infinity was a great album. Graduating high school in 93' was a great time for me and especially in Hip Hop. To me the Greatest yrs. of Rap was (89' to 95') and in between came a group from Oakland CA with the help from Hieroglyphics crew brought a classick LP. These four dudes set the record straight that people from the West Coast can can hang with cats from the East. They were the essential Constipated Monkeys from the West with dope ass lyrics and beats that were sounding from NY. I thought I'd give you a taste from the past with these videos....so enjoy

HAZE @Stussy LV...
Coordinating with Eric Haze, Stussy Las Vegas is the venue for one of the legendary graffiti artist’s latest pieces. Produced on a grand scale, a large portion of a wall at Stussy LV is devoted to a tri-colored effort. With the upcoming tradeshow season in Vegas about to kick-off, be sure to check out the wall and exclusive t-shirt released only in Las Vegas and Tokyo. A further video compliments the entire process over at Stussy.com. Eric Haze has also hinted at upcoming partnerships with Stussy which will include a full collection as well as participation in the 30th anniversary of Stussy.
