Concepts x New Balance 999 Seal Narrative Capsule Collection
The collaborations by Concepts and sneaker brand New Balance have always been interesting. For Fall 2012 they have worked on the Seal Narrative Capsule Collection and it is once again looking very good.
As part of the collaboration this season they present a beautiful version of the New Balance 999 running shoe. The sneaker features stain resistant microfiber suede and ballistic mesh on the upper. Other details include the ultra breathable nylon, as well as several graphic elements on the upper and lining. Matching the shoe they present the Arc’Teryx Seal Squamish technical jacket in matching colors.
The pack will be released on August 4th, 2012, in store at 10 AM and online at 12 AM.

THIS CONCERT WAS BY FAR THE BEST CYPRESS EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD. WITH THE HELP OF DOUGIE THE FUCKIN DOUCHE BAG AND B-REAL I WAS ASKED TO COME ON STAGE. STANDING ON THE SIDE WATCHIN MY FAV BAND OF ALL TIME WAS A DREAM THAT CAME TRUE. I BROUGHT MY WIFE WITH ME AND BOTH OF US HAD A BLAST. THOUGH THERE SET WAS ONLY 45MIN IT WAS WELL WORTH IT. THEY WENT THRU THERE LIST OF JAMS AS THEY ALWAYS DO PLUS THEY EVEN SHARED SUM MUSIC OFF THERE NEW EP....CYPRESS X RUSKO DUBSTEP ALBUM. I WAS CHILLEN WITH THEM IN THE BACK AND EVERYONE WAS DOWN TO EARTH NO BIGHEADS ALLOWED. Karriem Riggins - Moogy Foog It
But on his solo debut Alone Together, set for an October 23 release on Stones Throw Records, Riggins plants himself firmly as a hip-hop producer with a 34-track instrumental odyssey through nearly every influence on his career thus far. The project was inspired by much of the music he was creating while living in Los Angeles, and also by the love of his son and family.
Songs on Alone Together range from 14 seconds to a little over three minutes, and are the essence of man vs. machine. When Riggins channels Elvin Jones on the album’s climax and tribute to his longtime friend, “J Dilla the Greatest,” his tools are a Gretsch drum kit, the Fender Rhodes and an MPC3000. As versed as he is in jazz and pop, the machines will always be at the root – until the next thing.

Movie Trailer: The Man With The Iron Fists, Directed by RZA
RZA’s directorial debut The Man With The Iron Fists now has a trailer. “In feudal China, a blacksmith who makes weapons for a small village is put in the position where he must defend himself and his fellow villagers.” Starring Russell Crowe, Jamie Chung and Lucy Liu, the Kung Fu movie was written by RZA and Eli Roth and produced by Quentin Tarantino.
According to the trailer, the film’s soundtrack also includes new music from Kanye West, the Black Keys, Wiz Khalifa, Wu-Tang Clan and RZA himself.
