Losaidas Pilot Episode Produced By Kanye West and Dame Dash

The first episode of Losaidas, a new film executive produced by Kanye West and Dame Dash, has premiered online. Moving forward from what has been perceived as a strained relationship over the years following the fall-out between Jay Z and Dame Dash over the affairs of Roc-A-Fella, West and Dash have rekindled their partnership in the public eye by opting to co-executive produce this cinema project. Shot on location in Harlem, New York, Losaidas plays out the violent, survival of the fittest mentality that has notoriously governed the harsh streets of New York. A plethora of New York native artists such as The Lox, Smoke DZA, and underground battle rapper Murda Mook are set to make on-screen cameos as the storyline progresses. Episode one promptly introduces viewers to the unforgiving reality of Losaidas, and has been provided above for your viewing convenience. It appears the Doom Ring is upon us, good people. Rap-game super-villain MF DOOM has teamed with LA’s Hans Cholo to design a trademark piece that is at once dastardly and all-too-fly. The miniature mock-up of the ole metal fingers’ iconic mask (appropriated from Marvel’s own madman) is comprised stainless steel, the classic “DOOM” logo engraved along the inside of the band and an incast garnet stone at the top of his crown. Not only will Nike SB be bringing back the much-anticipated “De La Soul” Dunk Highs this year, but now we know that a coinciding low-top pair is also set to drop. With the high-tops coming in just a matter of weeks (February 13), we’ve of course been seeing coinciding imagery floating around for some time now. The “De La Soul” is easily one of the more celebrated colorways of SB Dunks, with the original having dropped roughly a decade ago. The Dunks pay homage to the hip-hop band’s 1989 debut album 3 Feet High and Rising, as De La heavily influenced skate culture of the 1990s. we can also look forward to the “De La Soul” lows arriving in May of this year—the 16th to be exact. After images of it leaked back in November, we finally have a release date for the Nike SB Dunk High “De La Soul”. This marks a big comeback for the shoe since it first came out in 2005. We’ve seen other premium iterations of the Dunk High from the Swoosh brand’s skateboarding division like the “Diamond” in conjunction with Diamond Supply Co. and the “Cali” from last summer and now they’re back at it again with the “De La Soul”, inspired by the legendary New York hip hop group of the same name. The classic sneaker is detailed with colorful artwork from the trio’s iconic album 3 Feet High and Rising on the overlays and sits on a clean white sole.
