Since the famed Desert Boot from Clarks Originals just celebrated its 60th Anniversary this year, it seems like all the spotlight had been placed on the line’s signature mens model. Here a gentle, and rather rad reminder of the Natalie model from the same line– a new collaborative Natalie between the brand and Japanese label, Neighborhood. Natalie was first released in the 90s and recognizable by its wraparound crepe sole which runs from the toe to the top of the heel. This feature is retained in this collaborative piece with Neighborhood’s biker style updates. The leather laces get a tasseled treatment at the ends giving the shoe a wild west vibe while the front uppers have “FILTH” and “FURY” embossed into the leather. The new collaboration revisits and recreates the history of the Natalie, making it relevant to new cultural territories. These shoes are due to arrive soon at Neighborhood.
