Adidas x Star Wars Collection...Singapore Campaign

The Death Star is no longer Darth Vader’s sole approach to galactic domination– the Force’s fallen hero takes on a more personal approach when invading Earth and stormed through cities with his army of Stormtroopers. A footage of the ranks marching in file through Singapore’s busiest shopping district, Orchard Road, has been captured and release onto the web. Fret not, this really isn’t Lord Vader unleashing his wrath onto the international hub of a Southeast Asian island, but is a part of a global marketing campaign effort put forth by adidas Originals by its upcoming release of adidas Originals x Star Wars collection. While the collection is not dropping until January 2010, Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers have been seen carrying adidas Originals bags and flipping through merchandise at a local adidas Originals store, discussing kicks and tees amongst themselves in a galactic fervor. Check out the campaign video, and don’t get too shocked if you do spot Darth Vader prowling through the streets of your city, or promptly taking that pair of Nizza Hi you are holding out of your hands at the adidas store.
