A Word From DEL (Hieroglyphics)...FREE ALBUM!
With growing fears over a slumping economy growing by the day, many people are cutting back on the small things in life—which often include the legal consumption of music. Luckily, fans of Del the Funky Homosapien can enjoy the emcee’s upcoming album without having to bootleg it.
Del’s upcoming album, Funkman will be available to the masses free of charge. Accompanying the album will be a 13-point “stimulus package” which is designed to “revive the public at large” that is “over the whole rap era,” according to Del.
Fans who cannot get enough of Del can also find two other works—The Leak Pack Series Vols. 1 and 2—available for free as well.
With Funkman, Del aims to bring back the feeling of newness that fans experienced when Hip Hop began to get popular.

Air Jordan 1's HARE Edition...
The “Hare Jordan 1″ will be dropping on the 11th of April. It features all the colors and materials you would expect, considering the Air Jordan 7 “Hares” that inspired this new make-up. A fresh look to the Jumpman logo is done up in “Hare” fashion as well, and is placed on the tongue.
They might not be the same as the classics, but definitely cop-worthy right?

Air Jordan 1's HARE Easter Edition...
To further compliment the Air Jordan 1 Hare we saw yesterday, the Jordan camp previews a secondary colorway in a girl-friendly light brown and shy pink offering. Although the kicks seen yesterday are scheduled to release in adult sizes, this new unveiling will remain a childrens release in grade school sizes. Look for both to releases mid-April at Jordan accounts nationwide.

Nike AF1's x Jongerius...
Nike and Hella Jongerius for Maharam worked together on this Air Force 1 Low that uses a new layered textile designed by Jongerius for Maharam on the entire upper of the AF1. Although the collaboration may have seemed a bit far stretched when initially hearing about it, both Nike and Maharam made this collaboration a special one, bringing some new light to the Air Force 1. For those of you looking to pick it up, like most Nike collaboration projects, these will be limited, and will be released on April 1st at http://MossOnline.com.

Air Jordan 5's "Raging Bull" 3M Colors..
Following up on our preview of the Air Jordan V “Raging Bull” red suede colorway, we get a look at the second pair in the pack. Switching it up textile wise, the kicks feature a 3M reflective upper complimented by black/red and white accenting. Of course what would a V model be without the translucent outsoles. An official release is expected in May 2009.

Nike SB are set to drop an iconic rendition of the Paul Rodriguez signature P-rod II based on one of the most important SB Dunks of all time, the Supreme Dunk Low. Re-interpreting the iconic cartoon character Charlie Brown, the original Made by Monsters x Ron English “Grin” toy released a few months back. However, with SILLY THING’s CHAPEL OF DAWN joining the picture, a new colorway is set to drop early next month. Guillermo Scott Herren (Prefuse 73) is experimenting with a new way of getting his key psyche-folk project Savath & Savalas released, just as Stones Throw is always experimenting with new ways to release records. This one we're dropping exclusively on our website in just one week. The LP/CD will be released worldwide in May. Herren & Eva Puyuleo Muns have a new addition to the band, Roberto Carlos Lange. La Llama was mainly inspired by South-American psychedelic music and the early 70s independent music scene that had briefly flourished in Recife, Brazil.

The Air Jordan 4 Fusion “Fire Red” has been done up with a visible Air unit in the midsole. The three colors on the Air Force 1 midsole and outsole looks fresh, especially when compared to the previous samples we’ve seen. Everything above that midsole is all classic Jordan IV with the exception of the shape of the mesh panel.

Showbiz and A.G. (also known as Show and A.G.) are part of the infamous crew Diggin' in the Crates coming out of the Bronx, NY. Showbiz is a producer and A.G. (short for André the Giant) is the MC. The duo's first release was an EP titled Soul Clap, released in 1992, also known as Showbiz & A.G. They released their debut album, Runaway Slave, the same year. Their 1995 album, Goodfellas, featured a darker sound than their debut. Guest artists on the LP included D-Flow, Lord Finesse, DJ Premier, Roc Raida, Dres, Method Man and Diamond D. Following the release of Full Scale (EP) in 1998, the duo stopped releasing records and began concentrating on their work with D.I.T.C. as well as solo projects. In 2007, they released a new EP entitled Live Hard on DITC Records, their first new material in nearly a decade.i thought i'd give you a video of theirs....Enjoy

One of the most slept-on crews of all time (Yes, I said of all time) Ultramagnetic mc's have been underground for a minute. These cats from the Bronx created a whole style that would eventually create a MC named Kool Kieth and the rest is history. Kool Keith is in my top Mc's of all time, with alias's and numerous collabos this cat has emerged as a beast on the mic and nobody these days can phase. I chose a few videos from this crew from back in the days so enjoy...And oh yeah don't forget that Kool Keith will be in Chicago in April....

March 2009 sees Carhartt joining forces once again with Los Angeles-based Stones Throw Records to present a European music tour. Beginning March 6th until March 21st, the 14 city tour will feature label-head Peanut Butter Wolf playing a video set, Los-Angeles ambassador of boogie funk Dam-Funk DJing, Detroit- soul influenced Mayer Hawthorne and James Pants playing live with his band the Royal Zodiac. To celebrate the London leg of the tour, Stones Throw art director Jeff Jank came up with a special t-shirt design which will be available throughout select Carhartt stores in London.

Stevie "Dread" Snyder....Review
Yesterday i went to the release of the Stevie "Dread" Snyder Nike Blazer shoe release @Uprise boutique shop. There was a line of about 30 people and the weather F!$kin' sucked (Snowin' and cold) Damn! Anyways i bought the shoe and came with a dope tee. I also politic with The Dread, very cool dude. Those Blazers are so dope with colors and also the Chicago flag....Anyways i took some pics. so enjoy....

Krink and The Crystal Pharoah shot this video of French graffiti artist André the night of the night of his NYC release party for his Belevedere Vodka project. The video captures André drawing one of his signature characters using Krink special edition markers on the bathroom mirror. In addition, Krink has created special edition markers for the occasion...
