After an abundance of release date leaks, a shot at the Black Friday 2016 retro of the classic Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” has finally been unveiled, alongside news of the hyped sneaker’s sizing availability. A single shot of the shoe confirms that this retro will in fact boast the original version’s Nike Air heel branding. Fieg in turn accounts for the first person to collaborate on the Made in USA 997.5. The “Cyclades” delivery draws inspiration from a trip Fieg took to the Nammos resort in Mykonos, Greece. The colorway points to this particular photograph taken by the designer/shop owner, as the imagery can then also be seen on the insoles of the sneaker. The orange forefoot is representative of the umbrellas, while the beige midfoot symbolizes the soft sand. Finally, the seafoam green detail on the heel mimics the waters of the Aegean Sea. The upper notes construction from pigskin suede, and a white 998 ABZORB midsole unit rests underneath. Next, the “Archipelago” plays on a similar theme, boasting a blue colorway that is once again a nod to the Aegean Sea. “N” logo branding has been shaded in tropical seafoam, while pigskin suede has also been utilized on the upper of this pair. 3M accents are featured, in addition to a white 998 ABZORB midsole unit. If the Air Jordan XXX1 “Banned” didn’t exactly strike your fancy upon its unveiling in Las Vegas yesterday, fear not: the OG inspiration behind the kicks is indeed making a comeback later this summer as Jordan Brand used the debut of the XXX1 to take the wraps off of this year’s retro of the infamous “Banned” Air Jordan 1. Originally teased on social media via promos with both Russell Westbrook and His Airness himself, the 2016 retro of the “Bred” look stays true to the 1985 original, adopting a leather build and iconic black and red colorway while ditching the tonal “X” that decorated the heel of 2011′s drop. Perhaps best of all for the purists, since the kicks come in the form of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG, the Nike Air branding remains intact on the tongue. Sadly, these will cost you a bit more than their mid-’80s MSRP of $65 USD, but, nonetheless, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Banned” will be welcomed with open arms when it hits shelves September 3. The shoe’s 12.5 oz. canvas upper is available in both white and navy, with contrasting blue and red stripes along the shoe’s midsole and blue stripes on its toe-cap. These NYC-centric kicks are, of course, available exclusively from ONLY NY’s LES outpost on 176 Stanton Street on May 5....

Patta Links With Kempi & Alchemist for Collaborative Capsule.....

Last year, Dutch rapper Kempi and American producer Alchemist joined forces to record a collaborative EP titled Rap N Glorie. To celebrate the release of the four-track project, the artists have joined forces with Patta on a coinciding capsule collection. The range consists of commemorative football jerseys, arriving in two colors. Optioned in white, red and navy, and black and grey, the tops feature a checkerboard base with a Patta crest patch on the chest, an embroidered cross, and five-star details. The back in turn showcases Kempi and Alchemist’s names and the number 16, signifying the year of the release. Each purchase of a limited edition jersey comes with a Rap N Glorie 12-inch vinyl EP. The vinyl will not be sold separately. Look for the Rap N Glorie delivery to arrive in-store and online on April 2.....

After word broke that the “French Blue” colorway of the Air Jordan 12 would release back in May of 2015, anticipation of Michael Jordan’s 12th signature model have continued to build. Fans were given a sample of what to expect as Jordan Brand released other colorways of the silhouette such as “The Master” with a black dominated upper along with a Vivid Pink edition for the youth.
