As part of Jordan Brand‘s 2015 spring/summer release is the upcoming Air Jordan 5 Retro “ProStars” sneaker. Drawing inspiration from the early ’90s animated television series ProStars, which starred Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky and Bo Jackson as world-class athletes turned superheroes, the shoes flaunts a simple, black and white color motif matched with a colorful midsole. Infrared accents, as seen on the tongue and midsole, coupled with a poison green strip, and translucent, blue bottom sole effectively recreates the themed flair of the cartoon show. Speckled detailing on the tongue and midsole finishes the styled shoe. Marked with the retail price tag of $190 USD, the latest Air Jordan 5 Retro is set to arrive on nike.com next Saturday.....

END. x Reebok Ventilator "Husky"

After a couple of teasers, the UK’s END. has unveiled its upcoming “Husky” collaboration with Reebok. Due out next week and taking the form of the Ventilator as a nod to the silhouette’s 25th anniversary, the shoe is “informed by the striking characteristics of one of the fastest canines in the world,” coupling the inspiration with the comfort, support and flexibility offered by the retro silhouette. The result is an old school runner with a distinctive husky-esque long-grain grey upper alongside blue and pink accents that recall the dog’s eyes and tongue, respectively. Finished with custom co-branded insoles, multiple sets of laces, husky-branded hangtags and limited edition frosted Perspex packaging, the “Husky” edition of the Ventilator is set to drop in-store June 4 before hitting endclothing.co.uk  June 6.

Jordan Brand has had a pretty incredible year so far, treating us to a number of great new releases but nothing feels quite as good as a true classic. After some months of rumors surrounding the return of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Chicago”, we finally have confirmation from Finish Line, who has uploaded photos of the iconic sneaker for a May 30 release. Dressed in the instantly recognizable red, black and white motif, the upper features supple leather panels on the high top silhouette. PRINDIVILLE DESIGN UNVEILS THE G63 AMG-BASED INDOMITABLE G

K-based tuning outfit Prindiville Design has unveiled the Indomitable G, a carbon-fiber clad SUV based on the Mercedes G63 AMG. Among the revisions are a 30-piece carbon fiber body kit that spans a new grille, hood, bumpers, and headlight surrounds, as well as extended wheel arches and side skirts. Carbon fiber even manages to make its way to the door handles, mirror caps, front fender vents and the spare tire cover. Inside, the cabin is decked out in leather and Alcantara upholstery, along with wood, carbon fiber or metal trim. In terms of power, there’s a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine, able to generate an additional 50 horsepower thanks to an optimized ECU and sports exhaust system. Pricing for the limited edition model begins at ($380,598)....

Reebok continues its 25th anniversary celebration of the classic Ventilator by linking up with Detroit’s Burn Rubber for a collaborative version of the retro runner. Inspired by Burn Rubber co-founder Roland Coit’s childhood trips to Boblo Island Amusement Park in Ontario — just 18 miles away from the Motor City — the “Boblo Boat” pays homage to the 45-minute ferry rides to the park. Thus, the shoe adopts the likes of the boat’s grey, white and blue design, as well as its bright yellow smokestack. Icy outsoles act as a nod to the waters of the Detroit River while Burn Rubber’s own signature hangtags and heel branding have been redesigned to imitate the boats’ infamous dock.
