West NYC x New Balance MT580 “Alpine Guide Edition”

West NYC should ring a bell for most sneaker fans out there, as the boutique has delivered a fantastic selection of premium footwear for many years already.
Today we can unveil the exciting upcoming collaboration between West NYC and New Balance on the MT580. Inspired by the store owner Lester Wasserman’s love of the outdoors, the sneaker is entitled ‘Alpine Guide Edition’, as it was inspired by the outdoors in terms of colors and details. Light grey premium suede uppers, purple accents and the speckled outer sole make this a very special version of the running shoe, that will for sure find a lot of fans in the sneaker community.
West NYC will be releasing the New Balance MT580 ‘Alpine Guide Edition’ on September 22nd, 2012, along with a matching logo t-shirt.

Yes, This Is A Bong Shaped Like An AR-15 Assault Rifle

There's a certain type of weed-smoker that will never cease to amaze me. You know the type: the guy who's never content to casually puff-puff-pass on a joint or a bowl, who's always talking about his newest multi-chambered, ice-filled piece, and who's always insisting that you turn your kitchen sink into a gravity bong for the night. Well, the final word for these technology-obsessed, bigger-is-better stoners has just arrived.
That's right. This here is a 3-foot-long glass bong shaped exactly like an AR-15 assault rifle. That's the bowl up on top of the scope. Apparently you take hits from the guns barrel. It's all a little ridiculous, if you ask me, but it certainly is something to behold.
The best part? The bong, a one-off piece by glass artist Robert Mickelsen, has already sold, so your annoying buddy can't buy it and brag about it to you.
