NIKE SB DUNK LOW “DE LA SOUL” PART 2

Not only will Nike SB be bringing back the much-anticipated “De La Soul” Dunk Highs this year, but now we know that a coinciding low-top pair is also set to drop. With the high-tops coming in just a matter of weeks (February 13), we’ve of course been seeing coinciding imagery floating around for some time now. The “De La Soul” is easily one of the more celebrated colorways of SB Dunks, with the original having dropped roughly a decade ago. The Dunks pay homage to the hip-hop band’s 1989 debut album 3 Feet High and Rising, as De La heavily influenced skate culture of the 1990s. we can also look forward to the “De La Soul” lows arriving in May of this year—the 16th to be exact. The De La Soul x Nike SB Dunk High will retail for $150 USD and the Low for $135 USD.

NIKE SB DUNK HIGH “DE LA SOUL”

After images of it leaked back in November, we finally have a release date for the Nike SB Dunk High “De La Soul”. This marks a big comeback for the shoe since it first came out in 2005. We’ve seen other premium iterations of the Dunk High from the Swoosh brand’s skateboarding division like the “Diamond” in conjunction with Diamond Supply Co. and the “Cali” from last summer and now they’re back at it again with the “De La Soul”, inspired by the legendary New York hip hop group of the same name. The classic sneaker is detailed with colorful artwork from the trio’s iconic album 3 Feet High and Rising on the overlays and sits on a clean white sole.
