PRINDIVILLE DESIGN UNVEILS THE G63 AMG-BASED INDOMITABLE G

K-based tuning outfit Prindiville Design has unveiled the Indomitable G, a carbon-fiber clad SUV based on the Mercedes G63 AMG. Among the revisions are a 30-piece carbon fiber body kit that spans a new grille, hood, bumpers, and headlight surrounds, as well as extended wheel arches and side skirts. Carbon fiber even manages to make its way to the door handles, mirror caps, front fender vents and the spare tire cover. Inside, the cabin is decked out in leather and Alcantara upholstery, along with wood, carbon fiber or metal trim. In terms of power, there’s a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine, able to generate an additional 50 horsepower thanks to an optimized ECU and sports exhaust system. Pricing for the limited edition model begins at ($380,598)....

Burn Rubber x Reebok Ventilator "Boblo Boat"

Reebok continues its 25th anniversary celebration of the classic Ventilator by linking up with Detroit’s Burn Rubber for a collaborative version of the retro runner. Inspired by Burn Rubber co-founder Roland Coit’s childhood trips to Boblo Island Amusement Park in Ontario — just 18 miles away from the Motor City — the “Boblo Boat” pays homage to the 45-minute ferry rides to the park. Thus, the shoe adopts the likes of the boat’s grey, white and blue design, as well as its bright yellow smokestack. Icy outsoles act as a nod to the waters of the Detroit River while Burn Rubber’s own signature hangtags and heel branding have been redesigned to imitate the boats’ infamous dock. The “Boblo Boat” Ventilator is due out May 16 at Reebok Certified Network accounts worldwide....
